We want your experience with us to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible! Please take a moment to read through our terms and conditions, which help us ensure everything runs smoothly for your wedding hair and makeup booking. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!
Booking and Payment:
Securing Your Booking: Once you receive your free, no-obligation quote, we’re here to chat and help make any adjustments until you're completely happy. The quote is valid for one week, but if you need more time, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to extend it.
To confirm your booking and secure your date, we require a 30% retainer. Please note that this retainer is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than one week before your booking, and payments can be made via bank transfer. We do not accept cash or card payments.
Travel Fees:
We love travelling to make your wedding day perfect! Our travel fee is calculated based on a round trip (there and back) from our base in Papamoa to your location. If your venue is more than 20 km away, a travel fee will apply at a rate of $1 per kilometre. We will always try to assign the minimum number of artists required to keep travel costs as low as possible.
If you need us to arrive earlier than usual (before 7 am), we apply the following early start fees per artist:
Before 7 am: $40 per artist
Before 6 am but after 5 am: $80 per artist
Before 5 am: $100 per artist
For out-of-town and Overseas bookings that require us to stay overnight, there be may be additional fees which we will include in your quote so there’s no hidden surprises.
Trials:
Your trial includes one hairstyle and one makeup application, which we’ll decide on together at the beginning of the session. If you decide you want a different look, we’ll be happy to accommodate that at an additional cost, and a new trial will need to be rebooked.
We recommend having your trial 1-12 weeks before your wedding day, but if you’d prefer to have it earlier or later, just let us know—we’re flexible!
Please note, trials are non-refundable once completed.
Public Holidays:
We’re available on all public holidays, subject to availability. There is an additional 15% surcharge for the following public holidays:
New Year’s Day
Day after New Year’s Day
Waitangi Day
Good Friday
Easter Monday
ANZAC Day
Queen’s Birthday
Labour Day
Christmas Day
Boxing Day
Changes and Cancellations:
Once you’ve paid the 30% retainer, it confirms your booking based on the quote provided. If you choose to cancel your booking, the retainer is non-refundable.
Cancellations:
Less than 1 week’s notice: You will be liable for the full booking amount.
Postponing your booking: We can help you reschedule your wedding to a new date. Please be aware that a 10% rebooking fee will apply.
Changes to Services:
If you need to cancel or alter someone's services, we’re happy to help. If you cancel someone's services less than three months before the booking date you may either find someone to take their place or forfeit the retainer for that individual’s services.
If you cancel someone’s services with less than 1 week’s notice, we will need to charge for the full cost of their services unless someone else can take their place.
Artist Unavailability:
In the unlikely event your assigned artist is unavailable for your wedding, we’ll notify you immediately and arrange for a suitable replacement artist from our team. If no replacement is available, we will provide a full refund for the affected services. Please note that there is no monetary compensation for a change of artist.
International Transfers:
If you're making a payment from an overseas bank account, please be aware that international banking fees may apply, both from your bank and from the NZ transferring bank. These fees are your responsibility, so please ensure that the total amount received by us matches the agreed NZD quote.
If you're unsure of the exact amount, we recommend checking with your bank beforehand. For international transfers, we use Westpac, and our SWIFT code is WPACNZ2W.
